- Burkinabés looking to travel to Estonia for tourism purposes can apply for the Estonian tourist visa.
- Estonia is part of the Schengen countries so you will need a Schengen visa.
- Travel medical insurance confirmation of minimum 30,000 € coverage within Estonia and the entire Schengen area is required.
- You are required to provide a copy of your return-ticket reservation with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Estonia. It is not recommended to purchase the ticket before obtaining the visa.
- Proof of Accommodation for the whole duration of the intended stay in Estonia must be provided.
- Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Estonia must be provided. The amount of financial means that every foreigner applying for an Estonian Visa has to demonstrate owning to the Estonian Embassy or Consulate, is 38.35€ per day for the period of stay in Estonia.
- Personal Covering letter from the applicant explaining in detail the purpose of the visit is required. This needs to explain in detail your entire travel itinerary, all the documents that you have submitted in order addressing the Embassy in your area.
- In Estonia, everyone is required by law to wear small reflectors on clothing when it is dark outside. Fines for refusing to wear the reflectors range from 50 to 500 Euros.

Estonia Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Estonian business visa is for Burkinabés traveling to Estonia for business purposes.
- Invitation letter from the Estonian company you will be visiting and their detailed address accompanied with the dates of your visit must be provided.
- You are required to provide a certificate from your employer stating/allowing your business travel.
- If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided.
- Business bank statement of the latest 6 months must be provided by the applicant.
- Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents must also be provided.
- Regarding the applicant’s expenses during stay in the Schengen zone, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation.
- Applicants traveling for the aim of setting up a business in Estonia must send an application to the Estonian government, informing the government that they qualify for the permit on the basis of establishing and managing an enterprise that will benefit the country’ economy.
- This application must contain the enterprise’s business plan and its formation and operating documents. Moreover, if the applicant has a holding in a company, the applicant must have at least 65,000 euros invested in the business in Estonia.
- Once the application is approved, the investor receives the temporary residence permit and can relocate to Estonia to live and work for the enterprise (a spouse and minor children are eligible to accompany the investor).
- The initial validity period of the temporary residence permits is five years, and the permits may be extended if the enterprise has generated a sales revenue of at least 200,000 euros each year, or if the Estonian monthly social tax that is paid to employees equals five times the Estonian yearly average wage.
