Basic Travel Requirements for Cambodians visiting Czech Republic
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Czech Visa.
- A Cambodian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Czech Republic.
- The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
- Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any).
- Completely filled and signed visa application form.
- Two identical passport photographs with a light background.
- Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area.
- Cover letter.
- Proof of accommodation.
- Proof of sufficient funds for the trip.

Czech Republic Visitor Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Czech Republic issues a visitor visa to individuals who want to travel to the country for visitation purposes.
- It is a short-stay visa valid for a period of 90 days every six months.
- This visa cannot be used to study or work while in the Czech Republic.
- Individuals who would be staying with their relatives during their trip or with a host are to submit an invitation letter.
- The invitation letter should contain the host's address and contact details.
- If you do not have a host, you must have an accommodation reservation which could be a hotel or a rented apartment.
- The Czech Republic is a Schengen country and therefore abides with the Schengen rule.
- All travellers to the Schengen republic are to have travel medical insurance which would be used to cover any emergency that might come up during their stay.
- This medical insurance should be worth a minimum of 30,000 euros and should be valid for the duration of your stay in the Schengen area.
- Before applying for your visa, ensure that you have sufficient funds as proof would be required during the application.
- The proof could be in the form of a recent bank statement, payslip or salary records.

Czech Republic Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued for commercial and trade activities in the Czech Republic.
- It is usually issued as a short-stay visa and is valid for 90 days but if you have to stay for a longer time then you can apply for a type D, long-stay visa.
- With this visa, you can negotiate and sign contracts, attend business meetings, conferences and seminars.
- Those attending conferences are to present proof of pre-registration for the conference during the visa application.
- Note that all fees paid for the visa application are non-negotiable and non-refundable even if the visa is denied.
- Employed applicants are to present a letter from their employer in Cambodia stating their position at work, salary earned and that the trip is approved.
- The host company also is to issue an invitation letter which should state the exact purpose and duration of the visit.
- If your employer or the host company in Czech Republic would sponsor your trip, it should be stated in the letters they are to send.
- This visa does not grant the individual permission to seek employment or to apply for public funds in the country.
- Do not overstay your Schengen visa. You would be deported regardless of your reasons for overstaying.
