Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Dutch Visa.
- A Cambodian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from the Netherlands.
- The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
- Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any).
- Completely filled and signed visa application form.
- Two identical passport photographs with a light background.
- Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area.

Netherlands Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Netherlands tourist visa is for persons who want to travel to the Netherlands for leisure and sight-seeing purposes.
- This visa can also be used for visitation purposes.
- It is compulsory for the applicant to have an accommodation reservation in the Netherlands.
- This accommodation could be in the form of a hotel reservation or in the house of the person you are going to visit.
- Tourists cannot study with this visa, it is strictly for recreational purposes.
- The host is required to send an invitation letter stating the relationship between the host and the applicant, the exact purpose for the trip and the duration for the trip.
- A recent bank statement, not older than 6 months is required as proof of sufficient funds for your trip.
- Your passport must be valid for a minimum of three months beyond the date you are expected to return to Cambodia.
- A cover letter is required from the applicant and it should state the exact reason why the applicant wants to visit the Netherlands.
- The application forms should be submitted in person to the embassy or consulate and a physical interview would be conducted.
- A return trip ticket is required to show that the applicant intends to return to Cambodia at the end of their trip.
Netherlands Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The business visa is used for commercial and business activities.
- This visa is used for negotiating contracts, signing contracts, hiring staff, attending conferences and seminars.
- An invitation letter from the Dutch company you would be working with is required.
- The letter should contain the company's detailed address and the intended duration of the business trip.
- If the business partner would sponsor the trip, it should be stated in the letter of invitation.
- If there was previous trade relations between the applicant and the inviting company, detailed of the dealings should be provided.
- A letter from your employer in Cambodia is also required. The letter should state the applicant's position at work and that the applicant's trip is approved.
- Accommodation is compulsory for all travellers to the Netherlands.
- Self-employed applicants are to present a copy of their business registration and tax income payment.
- If you would be travelling for a conference, you need to pre-register and submit the documents of pre-registration during your application.
- All applicants must have travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 Eur valid through all the Schengen area.
Netherlands Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Netherlands student visa is granted to persons who intend to study in the Netherlands.
- Students are to have proof of sufficient financial means for the duration of their stay. This could be a bank statement or scholarship letter.
- You cannot apply for this visa unless you have a letter of confirmation of enrollment from your university.
- Health insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 EUR valid for all Schengen area is required for all students.
- Students are also to have proof of payments of required fees or part payment of the fees.
- Your academic transcripts from previous institutions attended should also be provided.
- Two passport photographs showing the full face without glasses are required from the applicant.
- All international students are permitted to work alongside their studies.
- You have to get a work permit to be able to work as a student but it would be obtained by your prospective employer on your behalf.
- Even with this work permit, students can work only for a limited number of hours, which is around 10 hours a week. They are however allowed to work full-time during the months of June, July and August.
- All students are also to have accommodation reservations for their study period.

When is the best time of the year to visit Netherlands?
The best time to visit is during spring (May) and autumn which is around mid-September. The driest time of the year is summer and tourists are usually found a lot during this period.
