Tourist visa
- The Honduras tourist visa is issued to Central Africans intending to travel to Honduras for tourism.
- This visa is valid for 120 days and is not extendable.
- Travelers are required to provide vaccinations for the following; yellow fever, measles, rubella, rabies, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid.
- Travelers must declare any amount over $10,000 upon entry into Honduras.
- Foreigners traveling with minors are required to provide their birth certificate.
- If there is no second parent with legal custody of the child (e.g., the second parent is deceased, one parent has sole custody, etc.), travelers can provide copies of the relevant paperwork such as a court decision, birth certificate naming only one parent, death certificate, etc.
- While crime and violence are serious problems throughout the country, municipalities along the north coast and central portions of the country have historically had the country’s highest crime rates.
