- A Central African Republic passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
- Duly completed and signed visa application form.
- If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
- Passport-size photographs (40 mm x 60 mm) taken in blue background.
- Travel document.

Visa type details
Tourist visa
- The Kuwaiti tourist visa is available to Central Africans intending to travel to Kuwait for tourism purposes.
- The Kuwait tourist visa is valid for 90 days and is not extendable.
- Kuwait visit visa should be sponsored by a Kuwait Company or by a relative, a resident foreigner residing in the country. Prior to travel, the visitor can get their visa processed and passport stamped in a Kuwait Embassy.
- A faxed copy of the visitor’s passport can also be faxed by the sponsor to obtain the visit visa. The visa copy will then be faxed to the visitor to enable him to travel to Kuwait.
- They can then meet at the airport with original visa on entering the country. Separate counters are allocated at the immigration area to deposit and pick up the documents. However, original documents are required to complete entry formalities.
- It should be noted that visitors who enter Kuwait are not allowed to work. If you wish to work in Kuwait, you should obtain a residence visa and a work permit.
- Be aware that desert areas and some beaches contain unexploded ordnance and war materials left over from the 1990-1991 Gulf War. Be careful not to venture into unsafe territories.
- Embassy policy places the Kuwait/Iraq border demarcation area north of Mutla’a Ridge as off-limits for travelers without special permission.
- Although criminal activities in Kuwait are relatively low, travelers are advised to remain cautious.
- If you are injured during the commission of a crime, seek medical treatment at a public hospital before filing a police report. You can bring the medical report with you to the police station afterward.
- It is illegal for tourists to posses alcohol and/or narcotics.
- Possession of alcohol or driving under the influence will get you immediate imprisonment.
- Penalties for possession, use, or trafficking in illegal drugs, synthetics, and drug-making ingredients are severe. Convicted offenders can expect long jail sentences and heavy fines.
- Convictions for drug trafficking may include a death penalty sentence.
- Pork products and pornography are prohibited. Customs regulations are strict, particularly regarding firearms and religious materials.
- It is illegal to photograph government buildings, military installations, and oil-related infrastructure. Ask for permission before photographing people. Some women find being photographed offensive and may report the incident to local police.

- A letter from the applicant’s employer written on the company’s letterhead should be provided. The letter should include the following:
- The full name, address and contact details of the host company.
- Specify the purpose and duration of stay.
- Include an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant.
- Be signed by the applicant's host company.
- Be issued within the last three months.
- An official invitation letter from the company in Kuwait must be provided. The company’s address, the reason for your visit and the duration of your stay should be clearly stated.
- A certificate of business registration of the company in Kuwait is required.
- A copy of your legal status in Central African Republic is required.
- If your employer or the company you are meeting with will be responsible for taking care of your expenses, it should be stated in the invitation letter.
- If you have been in business with the same company previously, proof of this should be presented during the visa application process.
