Cuba Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This is the type of visa issued to persons intending to visit Cuba for tourism purposes.
  • You can either go to the nearest Cuban diplomatic mission for a visa or you can apply online for a Tourist Card.
  • However, not all countries are eligible for a tourist card so you need to be sure your country is not among the 20 nationalities that do not have access to the tourist card.
  • A letter of invitation from the relative you are going to visit is required to apply for this visa.
  • Also, the passport details and a means of identification of the relative is required.
  • If you are traveling with a minor, you should submit the birth certificate of the minor during the visa application process.
  • You are not allowed to take up paid work during your time in the country.
  • This visa is valid for 30 days.
