Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Danish Visa.

Denmark Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

    • Holders of the Denmark tourist visa have the intention of visiting Denmark for tourism and leisure.
    • Foreigners who are also visiting Denmark to take part in short term business activities are also eligible for this visa.
    • For you to be granted this visa for business purposes, there must be an actual commercial relationship between the host company and the inviting company.
    • If employed you should provide the following documents:
      • A copy of your business license
      • Company bank statement of the latest 6 months
      • Income Tax Return (ITR)
    • You are expected to provide an invitation letter with the address and phone number from a family member or sponsor you will be visiting.
    • The applicant is to provide a recent Bank statement of six months.
    • The purpose of the applicant’s visit must be related to the applicant’s line of business in Chad.
    • You are not allowed to work unless the Immigration Service has explicitly granted them the right to.
    • Applicants cannot enroll in any institution/school in Denmark during their stay.
    • Proof of civil ties to home country(birth certificate, marriage certificate etc) should be provided.
    • Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
    • Minors should ensure they are in possession of the unabridged original copy of their birth certificate. A letter of consent signed by both parents of the minor is also required.
    • Proof of the paid visa fee must be provided during the visa application.
    • Means of financial subsistence by providing bank statements for the last six months.
    • You are not to overstay your visa, you are expected to exit the country once the visa expires.

    Denmark Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

    • The Danish business visa is issued to applicants wwho want to to engage in business, attend meets and seminars in Denmark.
    • A certificate from your employer stating/allowing your business travel should be provided.
    • If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided
    • A business bank statement of the latest 6 months is required.
    • Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents.
    • Regarding the applicant’s expenses during stay in the Schengen zone, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation.
    • You cannot take up paid or unpaid jobs in the country during your stay.
    • A foreigner who is applying for a long stay business visa, the visa is charged $195 USD.
    • The foreigners who are visiting for a short-stay are bound to pay 60 Euro for adults above 12years old.
    • You must provide a letter from their employer stating or allowing their business travel.
    • Bank statements from the last 6months should be provided.
    • Applicants who are visiting the country as a business partner, Partnership documents should be provided during the visa application.
    • Before applying for this visa ensure you have the right qualification for the job you will be engaged with in the country.
    • Proof of paid visa fee is required.
    • Retired applicants should provide a pension statement for the last six months.
    • You are to exit the country on or before the visa expires.

    Denmark Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

    • Holders of the Danish student visa have the intention of studying in any of the academic institutions in the country.
    • Before applying for this visa ensure you must have been accepted into an educational institution before they are granted this visa.
    • An enrollment certificate allowing attendance of courses should be provided.
    • A letter of acceptance printed on the institution’s letterhead stating the course the applicant has been offered and the duration of the study program.
    • The educational institution must be publically accredited and must offer a full-time study.
    • Applicants who have completed a higher education program in Denmark will be granted a 6-month residence permit to look for employment.
    • If you are under the age of 18 years, the original copy of your birth certificate should be provided during the visa application process.
    • Applicants of this visa are entitled to partly user paid Danish lessons. The applicant must have turned 18 and have their Danish address registered in the Danish National Register before they can enjoy this benefit.
    • Certificates and transcripts of the previous institutions attended by the applicant are required.
    • You are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid jobs during your study in the country.
    • Financial sustenance for the duration of the study is required.
