India Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The visa is issued to the citizens of Chad traveling to India for tourism purposes 
  • Proof of accommodation or hotel reservations for the duration of stay in India should be provided.
  • You are required to provide a letter of invitation from their host in the country. The letter must state the relationship between the applicant and the host and must be accompanied by the valid means of identification of the host.
  • In case of visas for minors on separate passports, a consent/sponsor letter from the parents should be submitted.
  • Holders of this visa are not permitted to take up paid or unpaid jobs in the country.
  • The tourist India visa does not serve the study purposes.
  • Proof of the paid visa fees is required.
  • Means of financial subsistence should be provided during the visa application.
  • The visa fee paid is non-refundable. Fees once received will not be refunded, even if the application is withdrawn or the service refused.
  • Applicants are requested not to finalize their travel plans before their visa is issued by the Embassy.
  • You are advised to exit the country on or before the visa expires.
  • The Indian tourist visa cannot be extended.
  • Proof of civil ties to the home country.

India Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to citizens of Chad traveling to India for business purposes.
  • Holders of this visa can also attend business meetings/discussions, signing or updating contracts with the company in India.
  • Invitation letter from Indian partner or company with the complete information regarding the visit along with the undertaking of all the responsibilities while a foreign national stay in India is required.
  • The letter of invitation MUST be signed, duly stamped and addressed to the Embassy of India.
  • The applicant should physically be present to submit the application.
  • You cannot receive payments for the service you rendered in India.
  • If you are employed by a company in Chad, you are required to present a work certificate, as well as salary payslips from the previous three months.
  • You must provide proof of accommodation or hotel reservations for the period of stay in India.
  • Applicants who are non-Chadians should provide a residence permit in Chad.
  • Applicants who are business owners should ensure they submit a copy of the company’s commercial register which was legalized as recently as 3 months back.
  • Means of financial subsistence either by the employer or employee should be provided.
  • You are expected to leave the country after your visa expires.

India Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to citizens of Chad traveling to India for work purposes
  • Holders of this visa should be highly skilled or qualified professionals being engaged or appointed by a company in India. Skilled position such as technical expert, senior executive, or in a managerial position.
  • There should not be a qualified Indian available to do the job that the visa holder would be performing.
  • The employment must either be in a company or organization recognized by India.
  • Applicants of this visa must abide by all legal requirements like payment of task liabilities.
  • A valid passport for six months 
  •  Foreigners who are traveling to India for a routine, ordinary or secretarial job will not be issued this visa.
  • You cannot apply for this visa from India but from your country of residence.
  • Holders of this visa are expected to comply with all other requirements like payment of tax liabilities.
  • Applicants who are self-employed and have the intention of providing medical, accounting, legal or other highly skilled services in their capacity as independent consultants are eligible for this visa.
  • An employment contract from the applicant’s employee in India should be submitted.
  • If the duration of your stay in India will exceed 180 days, registration is compulsory within 14 days of the first arrival.
