Is it safe to travel to Qatar?

Qatar is a very safe country to travel to since its crime rates are low. Even violent crimes are extremely rare, especially towards foreigners. Can I extend my visa in Qatar?

Tourist visas cannot be extended but are allowed to renew twice for a maximum of 60 days stay. If you want to renew it again, you will have to go back to the country of origin and return after one month.
