France Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The French business visa is for Congolese visa applicants who wish to travel to France for business reasons solely.
  • This visa is not to be used for tourism and educational purposes.
  • The French business visa allows its holders to attend seminars, trade fairs, and conferences related to their professional activities while in France.
  • Business travelers are allowed to negotiate and sign contracts and attend business meetings with their partners while in the country.
  • Visa applicants are to submit an invitation letter from the French company they are in business with.
  • The letter should state the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the trip.
  • If employed, applicants are required to present a letter from their employer stating allowance and awareness of their leave. 
  • The purpose and duration of the trip should be clearly stated in the letter. The letter should also contain the applicant's job position and salary level.
  • Regarding the applicant’s expenses while in France, either the employer or the partner company in France must state coverage of expenses in the business letter.
  • If there have previous trade relations between the host and sponsoring company, proof of such events must be provided.

France Medical Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The French medical visa is issued to Congolese visiting France to seek and receive medical treatment that cannot be gotten in Congo.
  • This visa is also for persons who wish to accompany sick persons traveling from Congo to France to receive medical treatment.
  • A medical report from the applicant’s doctor in Congo stating the nature of the applicant's ailment and the reason the treatment is best gotten in France is to be submitted.
  • A letter of invitation from the medical institution in France willing to admit the applicant is required.
  • The letter should state the proposed length of treatment, medical costs, and date of appointment.
  • The applicant is to provide proof of payment of medical fees for the hospital in France.
  • A letter of guarantee from the applicant assuring that he/she has the capacity to cope with the extra medical costs if any is to be provided.
  • A certificate from the national medical authority in Congo is to be provided apologizing for their incapacity to offer the appropriate medical treatment for the applicant’s condition.
  • If the applicant is a minor, the original copy of their birth certificate should be provided. 
  • Also, a letter of consent signed by both parents is to be submitted.
  • Registration certificate of the patient in the national list of organ transplants issued by the medical and surgical team performing the transplant, if necessary, is to be provided.
  • This visa does not allow you to work or enroll in any of the country’s academic institutions.
  • This visa is not to be used for tourist reasons.

France Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa type is for foreign students from Congo who have been accepted into any of the academic institutions in France.
  • It is also for students on student exchange programs, Internships or students who are on transfer from academic institutions in Congo.
  • Visa applicants who have not been granted admission into any institution in France will not be granted this visa.
  • A letter of acceptance from the institution the applicant has been accepted to, written on the institution’s letterhead is to be provided.
