Visa Free Countries for Dominicans

India is home to over a billion people, the best cuisine and the tallest mountain range in the world. 

• Dominica passport holders can visit India by applying for an Electronic visa for a duration of 90 days.
• Djibouti citizens are advised to have applied for the e-visa, at least four days before departure. Also, the e-visa costs about USD 80.
• Intending visitors are expected to have a valid passport of a minimum of 6 months beyond the date of India. The passport should have at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
• The import and export of India’s local currency are pegged at INR 25,000.
• Also, the import and export of foreign currencies are unlimited, however, amounts exceeding $ 5,000 or its equivalent would be declared.
• Travellers entering India with firearms require an Import Permit from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in India.
• Dominicans must show evidence of a confirmed means of accommodation for their entire stay in India which could be in the form of a sponsor letter from a host living in the country or a hotel reservation.
• The importation of remote-controlled drones and helicopters is allowed only with a WPC license issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
• Also, the importation of all kind of birds and bird products, pigs and pig meat products is prohibited.
• Citizens of Dominica visiting India with pets (dogs and cats) must be accompanied by a veterinarian health certificate issued in Dominica.
• A recent bank statement, to show that the visitor has enough money to spend while in India will be required.
• Dominica passport holders are not required to provide a yellow fever vaccination, they are advised to be vaccinated against common illnesses before departure.
• Some of the carriers that fly from Dominica to India are LIAT, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Seaborne Airlines, Air Antilles Express, Air France and Air Canada.
• The estimated flight time from Dominica to New Delhi, India is 22 hours, 50 minutes.
