Tourists can see wildlife they have never seen or heard before. Tourists in the country can meet young pygmies, spot bonobos and okapi which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. In Kinshasa, there is a market where the best of Congolese art, tribal masks, and other attractive artifacts can be gotten. DR Congo has indigenous cultures and beautiful scenery.
Tourism in DR Congo is not prevalent in the country because of the unrest in the country. The country welcomes an average of 200,000 foreigners yearly.
