Basic Travel Requirements for Congoleses visiting Belgium

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Belgian Visa.

  • The Belgium visa application form should be completely filled, printed and signed by applicants.
  • DR Congo passport that is valid for at least 3 months beyond the date of exit from Belgium.
  • The passport must have at least two blank pages to affix a Belgium visa.
  • Photocopies of applicant’s previous visa is required.
  • Two identical passport photograph taken against a white background and must display a neutral expression.
  • All required documents should be provided or translated into English, French, German and Dutch.
  • Medical insurance with a minimum of 30,000 euros that covers medical emergencies and repatriation in case of death.

Belgium Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A tourist visa is granted to foreigners who wish to visit Belgium for vacation, sightseeing, and exploring Belgium.
  • Belgium visa application form should be completely filled, printed and signed.

  • Two identical passport photograph taken within the last three months with a white background.
  • Invitation letter from the Belgian company application will be visiting and details and address, accompanied by the dates of the visit.
  • Letter from the applicant’s employer in DR Congo, stating that the applicant will be traveling to Belgium and that the employer permits the applicant to leave throughout the required period.
  • The letter of invitation must indicate if the host company is covering the financial expenses of the applicant.
  • Bank statement for the last six months is required.
