Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bangladeshi Visa.

  • This visa allows foreigners to attend trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
  • A letter of invitation from the inviting company in Bangladesh is required. The letter must state the nature and the duration of the applicant’s visit.
  • The business letter must state who will be responsible for the applicant’s finances while he/she is in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt should be provided. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and length of the applicant’s employment.
  • Proof of previous business dealings between the host company and the applicant’s company should be provided, if any.

  • This visa is issued to foreigners who have enrolled and have been accepted to study in any of the academic institutions in the country.
  • A letter of acceptance from the institution the applicant has been accepted into is required. The letter must state the course the applicant will be studying and the duration of the study program.
  • Certificates and transcripts from schools the applicant previously attended should be made available.
  • Minors applying for this visa should ensure they are in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate.
  • Foreigners applying for this visa are required to have a certificate of clean criminal record from the appropriate authorities in the country.
  • Students are allowed to work part-time when school is in session and full-time when school is on break.

  • Applicants should submit a copy of the Curriculum Vitae or Resume during the visa application process.

  • This visa is issued to members of the media traveling to Bangladesh.
  • A letter of invitation from the media house in Bangladesh you will be meeting with should be provided.
  • Applicants of this visa are required to fill a prescribed FF1 and FF2 form. This form must be duly signed by the applicant.
  • A letter from the local press or media is required.
  • You must provide the photocopy of the first five pages of your passport.
  • If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the minor’s birth certificate is required. The letter must carry both names of the minor’s parents.
  • Non-Egyptians are required to present a copy of their residence permit for Egypt.
