Application requirements
Documents Egyptian applicants need to provide.
- Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
- Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
- Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
- Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
- Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
- Copy of return flight ticket.
- Travel itinerary.

Tourist visa
- Applicants of this visa have the intention of traveling to Belarus for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.
- This visa also allows foreign nationals to visit their friends or relatives who hold permanent residence in the country.
- A letter of invitation from your host in the country should be provided. The letter must state the contact information of the host.
- If the applicant is employed, a letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt must be provided. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and length of the applicant’s employment.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to work or be enrolled in any of the academic institutions of learning.
- Foreigners in Belarus are not prohibited from attending events and festivals taking place in the country.
- If the applicant is under the age of 18 years, the unabridged original copy of the applicant’s birth certificate should be provided. If the applicant is traveling with one or none of his/her parents, a notarized consent signed by both parents is required.
- This visa cannot be changed or extended.
- Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.
Business visa
- The Business Visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Belarus with the intention of engaging in business activities.
- During business meetings with your partners, you can be involved in negotiation and signing of business contracts.
- Holders of this visa can attend trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
- A letter of invitation from the company in Belarus you will be in business with is required. The letter should be printed on the company’s letterhead and must contain a registration number and date of issue.
- The business letter should also state who will be responsible for the applicant’s expenses in the country. The letter should bear the signature of an official and a corporate seal.
- A written guarantee stating that the applicant will abide by all the rules and regulations applied to foreign citizens is required.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer confirming awareness of business leave is required. The letter must also state the job position, salary level, and duration of the applicant’s visit.
- Proof of previous business dealings between the host company and the applicant’s company must be provided, if any.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to receiving payments for the services they render while they are in the country.
- You are required to leave the country on or before this visa expires.
Student visa
- This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have the intention of studying in any of the academic institutions in the country.
- A letter of acceptance from the Belarusian university approved by the local passport and visa office of the Ministry of Interior is required. The letter must state the course the applicant will be studying and the duration of the study.
- A Certificate of Education duly legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt is required.
- A Medical Certificate confirming that the applicant does not have any contagious diseases should be provided.
- Foreigners applying for this visa should ensure they provide certificates and transcripts obtained from the schools they previously attended.
- Holders of this visa are allowed to work for a period of time as long as it does not affect the applicant’s education.
- Minors applying for this visa are required to provide a copy of their birth certificate which carries both names of their parents.
- Foreign nationals are not allowed to seek public funds during their time in the country.
- This visa can cover the duration of the study.
Transit visa
- This visa is issued to foreigners with the intention of transiting through Belarus to the country of their destination.
- Foreigners transiting through Belarus must present flight tickets of their destination country.
- The visa of the applicant’s destination country must also be provided.
- Please note that entry to Belarus from one country and returning to the same country from Belarus without going to a third country is not regarded as transit.
- If you are traveling with a minor, ensure you submit the unabridged original copy of the minor’s birth certificate.
