Basic Travel Requirements for Egyptians visiting Botswana

  • This visa is granted to Egyptians who are traveling to Botswana for visits to their friends and relatives and also for tourism purposes.
  • Foreigners visiting their friends or relatives in Botswana should ensure they have an invitation letter from their host. This invitation letter must state the contact information of the host in Botswana.

  • The Business Visa is issued to business-minded Egyptians traveling to Botswana to engage in business activities.
  • You are required to present a letter of invitation from your host in Botswana. The letter should state the duration and the purpose of your visit in Botswana.
  • If you have the intention of establishing a business in the country, your business profile is required.
  • Foreigners who will be staying in Botswana for one month or more are required to obtain a labor clearance.
