  • This visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Brunei for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.
  • Foreign nationals who have the intention of visiting their friends or relatives residing in Brunei are eligible for this visa.
  • A letter of invitation from your host in Brunei is required. The letter must state the relationship between the applicant and the host and must contain the contact information of the host.
  • Applicants of this visa are allowed to attend festivals and events of their choice in the country.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, you are required to provide a copy of your birth certificate. If you are traveling with one or none of your parents, a notarized consent signed by both your parents should be provided.

  • Foreigners in the country on this visa are allowed to negotiate and sign business contracts with their business partners.
  • While you are in the country, you are permitted to attend trade fairs, business summits, and conferences relating to your profession.
  • An official letter of invitation from the company in Brunei you will be visiting is required. The letter must state the nature of the business to be carried out and how long the applicant will be in the country.
  • The business letter must also state who will be responsible for the applicant’s finances in the country.
