Basic Travel Requirements for Egyptians visiting Cayman Islands

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Caymanian Visa.


    • Duly completed and signed visa application form.
    • An original passport that would remain valid for about 6 months after the intended return date. It must have at least one blank page for visa stamp.
    • Two recent passport-sized photographs that meet the visa photo requirements.
    • Travel itinerary and a copy of fight reservation.
    • Onward or return ticket.
    • Proof of citizenship which could be a national ID or a valid birth certificate.
    • Non-Egyptians should provide a valid residence permit.
    • For minors, the birth certificate and a letter of authorization from both parent is needed.
    • Proof of financial sustenance for the duration of stay in the Cayman Islands.
    • Proof of accommodation.
    • Applicants above 18 years of age are required to provide a recent police record.
    • All documents must have a notarized copy translated to English by an approved translator.
    • Visa applications for the Cayman Islands must go through the UK embassy in Cairo.
    • Egyptians don't need a visa to transit through the Cayman Islands.
