Tourist visa
- Applicants of this visa are foreign citizens who are traveling to Chad for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
- Egyptians who have been invited to the country by their friends or relatives are eligible to apply for this visa type.
- All those traveling to Chad for visitation are required to be in possession of an invitation letter from their host. The letter must contain the valid contact information of the host.
- Tourists are free to attend festivals and events of their choice taking place in Chad.
- An original letter of employment from the applicant’s employer certifying that the applicant is an employee of the company is required.
- This visa does not allow its holders to take up paid or unpaid employment during their time in the country.
- Non-Egyptians are required to have a copy of their Egypt residence permit.

- This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have the intention of creating new business relationships and developing already existing ones.
- Business travelers who have the intention of engaging in negotiation and signing of business contracts are eligible to apply for this visa.
- Holders of this visa are allowed to trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
- A letter of invitation from the inviting company in Chad should be provided. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and must state the duration of the business trip.
- Also, a letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt is required. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and length of the applicant’s employment.
- The business letter must state who will be financially responsible for the applicant during his/her time in the country.
- If there have been previous trade relations between both companies, proof of this is required.
- Documents which shows that the applicant has the incentive of returning to their home country should be provided.
- A copy of your Egyptian residence permit is required.
