How to get a Iceland visa from Egypt

• This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of visiting Iceland for recreation, relaxation, and sightseeing.
• Foreigners who are also visiting Iceland to take part in short term business activities are also eligible for this visa.
• For you to be granted this visa for business purposes, there must be an actual commercial relationship between the host company and the inviting company.
• The purpose of the applicant’s visit must be related to the applicant’s line of business in Egypt.
• Foreigners who have the intention of living with their spouse, cohabiting partner or other family member in the country can also apply for this visa.
• Applicants of this visa should note that they are not allowed to work unless the Immigration Service has explicitly granted them the right to.
• Foreigners cannot enroll in any of the academic institutions in the country.
• A document which shows that the applicant of this visa has the intention of leaving the country on or before the visa expires.
• Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.

• Researchers who have been offered employment at a research institute or company in Iceland are free to apply for this visa.
• Proof that the applicant will not be paid below the minimum wage paid to other Icelanders is required.
• If you do not have the qualification that matches the job you have been offered, you will not be issued this visa.
• Foreigners can do unpaid voluntary work while they are in the country.
