Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Macedonian Visa.

Macedonia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners who are traveling to Macedonia for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.
  • If you have been invited to the country by your friends and relatives residing in the country, you may apply for this visa.
  • Foreigners visiting someone in the country are required to provide an official letter of invitation from their host. The letter must state the relationship between the applicant and the host and must contain the valid contact information of the host.
  • Applicants who are employed should ensure they are in possession of a letter from their employer confirming their leave.
  • Tourists in Macedonia are allowed to attend festivals and events taking place in the country.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, you are required to be in possession of the original copy of your birth certificate.
  • Holders of this visa cannot be gainfully be employed during their time in the country.

  • This visa is issued to business travelers who have the intention of developing business relationships with their partners in the country.
  • During your time in the country, you are allowed to sign and negotiate business contracts with your partners.
  • Holders of this visa are allowed to attend trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
  • A letter of invitation from the inviting company in Macedonia stating the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the visit is required.
  • The business letter must state who will bear the cost of the applicant’s finances in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt is required. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and length of the applicant’s employment.
  • Proof of previous trade relations between the inviting company and the sponsoring company should be provided, if any.
  • Documents which show that the applicant has the incentive of returning to his/her home country is required.
  • Receipt which shows that visa application fee has been paid in full is required.
