Application requirements
Documents Egyptian applicants need to provide.
- National passport with a validity of not less than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have two blank pages for necessary stamps.
- Correctly completed visa application form duly signed by the visa applicant.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
- Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
- Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
- Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
- Copy of return flight ticket.
- Travel itinerary.

Tourist visa
- Foreigners visiting Mexico for the purpose of leisure and tourism are the eligible applicants of this visa.
- This visa allows foreign nationals to visit their friends and relatives in the country.
- If you are visiting someone in the country, a letter of invitation from your host is required. The relationship between you and your host should be stated in the letter along with the duration of your trip.
- During your time in Mexico, you can enjoy taking part in the events and festivals taking place.
- Applicants who are employed should provide a letter from their employer. The letter should state the job position, salary level, and the length of employment of the applicant.
- If the applicant of this visa is a minor, the original copy of his/her birth certificate is required. If the applicant is traveling with one or none of his/her parent, a letter of consent signed by both parents of the minor should be provided.
- A document which proves that the applicant has the incentive of returning to his/her country is required.
- Non-Egyptians should provide a copy of the Egyptian residence permit.
- Proof of payment of visa application fee should be provided.
- Documents in Arabic or another language different to English must be translated into Spanish by a certified translation office.
Business visa
- Business-oriented travelers who have the intention of engaging in business activities in the country are eligible for this visa.
- Business contracts can be negotiated and signed by authorized representatives of the host and sending companies.
- Holders of this visa are permitted to attend trade fairs, conferences, and seminars relating to their profession.
- A letter of invitation from the company in Mexico is required. The letter must state the nature of the business to be carried out by the applicant and the duration of the applicant’s trip.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer should be provided. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and length of the applicant’s employment.
- The invitation letter must also state who will be responsible for the applicant’s finances in the country.
- Proof of previous trade relations between the two companies must be provided.
- Foreigners in Mexico are not permitted to receive payments for the services they render.
- You are expected to leave the country at the expiry of this visa.
- Documents in Arabic or another language different to English must be translated into Spanish by a certified translation office.
