Basic Travel Requirements for Egyptians visiting Mongolia

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Mongolian Visa.

  • Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
  • Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
  • Original copy of bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of steady and continuous flow of funds.
  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Proof of civil status.
  • Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.

Nationals of United States, Brazil, Georgia, Serbia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine can visit Mongolia for up to 90 days without a visa. Citizens of Canada, Cuba, Germany, Israel, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, and Russia are allowed to visit the country without a visa for up to 30 days.

Travelers are advised to travel with their medical supplies as medical facilities in the country are limited.

Mongolia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Mongolia for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.
  • Foreigners traveling to Mongolia to visit their friends and relatives are eligible to apply for this visa.
  • A letter of invitation from your host in Mongolia is required. The letter must state the relationship between the applicant and the host and contain valid contact information of the host.
  • Holders of this visa are allowed to attend festivals and events taking place in the country.
  • If you are under the age of 18 years, you are expected to be in possession of the original copy of your birth certificate. A notarized consent signed by both your parents should also be provided.
  • This visa does not allow you to engage in business activities during your time in the country.
  • All applicants are required to provide proof of the incentive of returning to their home country at the expiry of this visa.
  • Proof of payment of visa application fee is required.

Mongolia Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to business travelers visiting Mongolia with the intention of engaging in business activities with their partners.
  • This visa allows foreigners to negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners in the country.
  • Holders of this visa are not prohibited from attending trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars relating to their profession.
  • An official letter of invitation from the inviting company in Mongolia is required. The letter must state the purpose and duration of the visit.
  • The business letter must also state who will be responsible for the applicant’s finances during his/her time in the country.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt should be provided. The letter must state the applicant’s job position, salary level, and length of employment.
  • Proof of previous trade relations between the applicant’s company and the host company should be provided, if any.
  • Documents which show that you have the incentive of returning to your country at the expiry of this visa is required.
  • Proof of payment of visa application fee should be provided.
