Tourist visa
- The immigration authorities of Egypt issue the Egypt tourist visa to foreigners who satisfy the requirements. The Egypt tourist visa is a sticker visa or stamp that stands as a permit for visiting Egypt for leisure within 90 days.
- If you desire to visit Egypt for other purposes, consider applying for any other types of Egypt. They are: Egypt working visa (to work in Egypt for a specific period of time) and Egypt student visa (to study in an Egyptian educational establishment for a period of time).
- With the Egypt tourist visa, you may visit friends, family or loved ones in Egypt. You may also travel purely for tourism or even for business meetings, conferences or study. But this must be a short-term study program within three months.
- However, you cannot reside permanently with the Egypt tourist visa or take up a paid work. Also, on no account can you remain in Egypt after the expiration of your visa. These contradict the purpose of the Egypt tourist visa to a foreigner.
- Meanwhile, the embassy of Egypt in Nigeria demands that you submit certain supporting documents when applying for Egypt tourist visa in Nigeria. If you cannot provide them, you do not meet up with the requirements.
