Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Paraguayan Visa.

Paraguay Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The Tourist Visa is issued to Egyptians who are traveling to Paraguay with the intention of relaxing, sightseeing, and vacationing.
  • Foreigners who also have the intention of visiting their friends or relatives who hold permanent residence in the country are eligible for this visa.
  • Applicants of this visa who intend to visit someone in the country are required to provide a letter of invitation from their host. The letter must be made before a Notary Public and be accompanied by the CIC of the duly authenticated inviter.
  • A certificate of good conduct legalized in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Egypt should be provided.
  • Foreign nationals visiting Paraguay are required to provide a medical certificate issued by a General Clinical Physician of a state hospital which states that the applicant is in good health and lacks any contagious disease.
  • Non-Egyptians are required to provide a copy of their residence permit in Egypt.
  • Minors should ensure they are in possession of the original copy of their birth certificate. If the minor is traveling alone or with one or none of his/her parents, a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor will be requested.
  • Holders of this visa are not allowed to engage in business activities during their time in the country.
  • It is compulsory for all applicants of this visa type to possess an International Certificate of vaccination against yellow fever.
  • All the documents to be presented during the visa application process should be translated into Spanish.

Paraguay Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of engaging in business activities while they are in Paraguay.
  • Holders of this visa are not prohibited from attending trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars during their time in the country.
  • A letter of invitation from the company you will be working with in Paraguay should be provided. The letter should be addressed to the Director of Passports and Consular Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Paraguay.
  • The letter must introduce the applicant and state the nature of the business to be carried out in the country. The duration of the business trip must also be stated in the letter.
  • The applicant should present a Work Certificate translated into Spanish.
  • If the applicant of this visa is a technician or representative of a company that will provide services or hold meetings with his/her peers in Paraguay, the inviting company must present the work certificate where the applicant serves.
  • In a case where there have been previous trade relations between the host company and the sponsoring company, proof of this must be presented.
  • A medical certificate which shows that the applicant is in good health condition and free of contagious diseases must be provided.
  • Non-Egyptians should provide a copy of their residence permit in Egypt.
  • All the documents to be presented must be translated into Spanish.
