Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Romanian Visa.

  • National passport with a validity of not less than 6 months from the intended departure date.

Romania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • This visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Romania for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.

  • This visa may also be issued to foreigners with the intention of investing in a business entity in the country.
  • Travelers on this visa are allowed to negotiate and sign business contracts with their partners during their stay in Romania.
  • This visa also allows business travelers to attend trade fairs, conferences, and seminars relating to their profession.
  • An official letter of invitation from the inviting company in Romania is required. The letter should be printed on the company’s letterhead and must state the nature of the business to be carried out.
  • The letter must also state if the financial responsibility of the applicant will be taken up by the host or applicant’s company.
  • A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt should be provided. The letter should introduce the applicant and must contain the valid contact information of the company.
  • If there have been previous trade relations between both companies, proof of this is required.
  • You are not permitted to receive payments for the services you render during your time in the country.

  • This visa is issued to foreign nationals who have the intention of studying in any of the academic institutions in Romania.
  • Foreigners who have the intention of undergoing unpaid training and internships are also eligible for this visa.
  • Before initiating the visa application process, ensure that you have been accepted into the academic institution of your choice.
  • A letter of admission stating the course and the duration of the study is required from the institution you have been accepted into.
  • Foreigners who will be carrying out scientific research on the grounds of endorsement of the Ministry of Research can apply for this visa.
  • Applicants are required to have paid the tuition for one academic session before they are issued this visa.

  • You must obtain a work permit as soon as you enter the country.
