Application requirements
Documents Egyptian applicants need to provide.
- National passport with a validity of not less than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have two blank pages for necessary stamps.
- Correctly completed visa application form duly signed by the visa applicant.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
- Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
- Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
- Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
- Copy of return flight ticket.
- Travel itinerary.

Tourist visa
- The Tourist Visa is issued to foreign nationals visiting Saudi Arabia for the purpose of sightseeing, recreation, and relaxation.
- Religious individuals/groups traveling for the purpose of Hajj and Umrah are also eligible for this visa.
- If the purpose of your trip is to visit your friend or relative residing in the country, you may apply for this visa.
- Foreigners traveling to honor an invitation from someone in the country are required to present a letter of invitation from their host.
- The letter of invitation must contain the valid contact information of the host. The relationship between the host and the applicant of this visa should be stated in the letter.
- Applicants who are employed should provide a letter from their employer. The letter should be printed on the company’s letterhead and must contain confirmation of the leave.
- Lady travelers who are under the age of 25 years must be in the company of a male relative/watchman while making the trip to Saudi Arabia.
- During your time in the country, you are not permitted to engage in business activities.
- A document which serves as proof of incentive of returning to your home country should be provided.
- Foreigners visiting Saudi Arabia are advised to be vaccinated against yellow fever before embarking on their journey.
Work visa
- This visa is issued to foreigners traveling to Saudi Arabia to take up paid employment.
- Applicants of this visa type must have been offered a job by an employer in Saudi Arabia before they can be granted this visa.
- A letter confirming employment from the company in Saudi Arabia that the applicant has been employed in should be provided. The letter must be printed on the company’s letterhead and be signed by both the employer and employee.
- You must obtain a work permit as soon as you enter the country.
- Proof that the job that was offered to the foreign national has been advertised in Saudi Arabia and that there was no Saudi Arabian qualified to take the job is required.
- The employer must not be willing to pay you below the minimum wage paid to Saudi Arabia nationals.
- A police report from the applicant’s country should be provided.
- Vaccination against yellow fever, measles, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, and polio is mandatory.
- This visa will not be issued to foreigners who are under-qualified or do not have the right qualification for the job they have been offered.
