Documents Egyptian applicants need to provide.
- Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
- Duly completed visa application form signed by the applicant.
- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
- Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
- Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
- Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
- Copy of return flight ticket.
- Travel itinerary.

Tourist visa
- This visa is issued to foreigners who are traveling to Singapore for the purpose of leisure and tourism.
- Foreign nationals who are visiting their friends or relatives living in the country can apply for this visa.
- If you are visiting someone in the country, a letter of invitation from your host should be provided. The letter should state the relationship between the applicant and the host and should also state the contact information of the applicant.
- Tourists are free to attend events and festivals taking place in the country.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt printed on the company’s letterhead is required. The letter must state the job position, salary level, and duration of the trip.
- Foreigners are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment during their time in the country.
- A document which shows that the applicant has the incentive or returning to his/her country should be provided.
- Receipt which shows that payment of visa application fee has been made is required.
Business visa
- This visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of visiting Singapore to engage in business activities.
- During business meetings with your partners, negotiation and signing of business contracts can be done.
- Foreigners can attend trade fairs, conferences, and business seminars while they are in the country.
- A letter from the host company in Singapore stating the nature of the business to be carried out and the duration of the business visit is required.
- The letter should also state who will bear the responsibility of the applicant’s finances in the country.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer in Egypt printed on the company’s letterhead is required. The letter should state the duration and purpose of the visit.
- If there have been previous business dealings between the host company and the sponsoring company, proof of this is required.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to receive payments for the services they render during their time in the country.
- Official translation of the documents is required if they are not in the English Language.
