Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Turkmen Visa.

  • Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country. The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.
  • Correctly filled visa application form duly signed by the applicant.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background. The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
  • Bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application. This is proof of a steady and continuous flow of funds.
  • Travel insurance which has sufficient medical coverage. The insurance should be valid for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • Proof of accommodation for the period you will be staying in the country.
  • Copy of return flight ticket.

  • This visa is issued to business travelers who have the intention of engaging in business activities during their time in Turkmenistan.
  • You are permitted to negotiate and sign business contracts with your partners during business meetings.
  • During your time in the country, you can attend conferences, trade fairs and business seminars relating to your profession.
  • An official letter of invitation from the inviting company should be provided. The letter must state the duration and purpose of the business visit.
  • If you will be visiting more than one company, a letter of invitation from each company should be provided.
  • A letter from your employer in Egypt is required. The letter should state awareness and allowance of the applicant’s business leave.
  • The letter must state who will be financially for the applicant during the business visit.
  • Proof of previous trade relations between the companies involved should be provided, if any.
  • You are expected to leave Turkmenistan on or before this visa expires.
