Basic Travel Requirements for Equatorial Guineans visiting Greece

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Greek Visa.


  • Completed and signed visa application form.
  • 2 recent passport photos taken with a light background.
  • Valid passport or travel documents with a minimum validity of 3 months beyond departure date from Greece. Passport must have at least 2 blank pages.
  • Copies of previous visas in your passport.
  • Valid travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 within Greece and the entire Schengen area.
  • Cover letter stating the purpose of visit to Greece.
  • Copy of a roundtrip flight ticket or confirmed travel itinerary, showing dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Greece.
  • Proof of accommodation (e.g. hotel reservation) for the entire duration of stay in Greece.
  • Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Greece.
  • Proof of payment of the visa fee. €60 for adults and €35 for children between 6 and 12 years.
  • Greece currently has no embassy in Equatorial Guinea. Applicants are to visit the Spanish embassy in Malabo to process their entry visa to Greece.
