Trinidad And Tobago Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • Equatorial Guineans who plan to travel to Trinidad and Tobago for tourism, sightseeing, visiting friends or relatives, or other recreational activities are eligible to apply for the tourist visa.
  • Applicants are required to hold a valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond their intended departure date from Trinidad and Tobago.
  • You are required to fully complete 2 copies of the visa application form and attach a recent passport-sized photograph to each. Note that incomplete application forms will not be processed.
  • You must submit an original letter of invitation from your host (family or friend) or tour organiser in Trinidad and Tobago clearly stating the purpose of your travel, duration of travel and the source of funding for your trip to the country.
  • You must provide the original letter of employment, signed by both you and your employer, stating your role in the company, your salary, duration of employment and proof that you will continue in your role at the company after your trip.
  • You are required to also provide proof of hotel or private accommodation such as the name and contact details of your host, the hotel or guesthouse you will be staying for the entire duration of your stay.
  • You are to provide proof of financial means for the entire duration of your stay in Trinidad and Tobago. This could be in the form of the original copies of your bank statements for the last 6 months or any other financial document that can prove your financial solvency.
  • You are required to provide your confirmed travel itinerary. It is not advisable for applicants to purchase their flight ticket before the visa application is approved.
  • If a minor is travelling alone or with anyone other than the parents or legal guardians, they are required to submit notarised authorisation from their parents or guardians along with a copy of their birth certificate.
  • You should submit your application in person and provide proof of payment of the visa fee.
  • The tourist visa is valid for 90 days.
  • Holders of the tourist visa are not permitted to work or be paid for services rendered while in Trinidad and Tobago without a work permit.
  • If you have a work permit that is valid for more than 3 months, you can apply for a multiple-entry visa.
  • Travellers are advised to get vaccinations for hepatitis A and typhoid before travelling to Trinidad and Tobago.

  • Foreign nationals who want to travel to Trinidad and Tobago for business purposes are eligible to apply for a business visa.
  • You are required to fully complete 2 copies of the visa application form and attach a recent passport-size photograph to each.
  • Your valid Equatorial Guinea passport must have a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your departure date from Trinidad and Tobago.
  • An original letter of invitation from a partner company in Trinidad and Tobago is required for a business visa. This letter should state the purpose of your visit, the duration of your travel and the source of funding for your trip and all your expenses while you are in the country. The letter must also have the stamp of the inviting company.
  • You must also present an original business letter from your employer stating your position in the company, your salary and how long you have worked in the company.
  • You are required to provide copies of your bank account statements of the last 6 months as proof that you can cater to all your expenses while in Trinidad and Tobago.
  • A certified copy of your latest income tax return must also be submitted.
  • If you have a business card, you may provide it for your visa application.
  • If you are travelling to Trinidad and Tobago for business for the first time or for the first time within the last 365 days, you are advised to apply for a single-entry visa.
  • You are required to provide a confirmed travel itinerary. You do not have to purchase your flight ticket until your visa application is approved.
  • If you have a work permit that is valid for more than 3 months, you can apply for a multiple-entry visa.
