Documents Gabonese applicants need to provide.
- The France visa application form must be filled out and must be signed by the applicant in order to be considered authentic.
- If the applicant is under the age of 18, parents or guardian is the authorized person to sign the application form.
- Two recently Passport Photos taken against a white background is required.
- A valid Passport of the visa applicant must be valid at least three months beyond the return date.
- The passport must have at least two blank pages for the visa stamp.
- Proof of the applicant’s address such as a copy of the lease agreement or deed of apartment/house. Bills such as electricity, water, cable, or, other regular bills are accepted.
- Proof of a booked round-trip flight ticket with a travel itinerary. This document must involve information about the airline company, your name and identity details, destinations, flight number, days and hours.
- Proof of a travel visa insurance by submitting a confirming document offering the information that you have at your disposition at least 30,000€ coverage within France for emergency cases during your stay in France.
- A Cover Letter stating the purpose of your visit to France, including the travel program. This is a separate written or printed sheet, where you include information about the days of travel, about means of transportation, destinations, and addresses.
- Proof of booked accommodation/hotel reservations in France.
- Proof of sufficient means to cope with the living costs during the period of stay.
- Receipt showing that the applicant has paid a non-refundable fee of 60 euros.
Visa type details
Tourist visa
- The tourist visa is issued to foreigners visiting France for tourism purposes such as holidays, recreations and relaxations.
- An international passport with at least two consecutive blank pages for France entry stamp.
- The passport must have at least 6 six months validity for the intended period of stay in France.
- 35 mm x 45 mm passport photo on white background. The applicant will need to submit two copies of these.
- Visa application form filled out, printed and signed by the applicant.
- Receipt showing proof that the visa application fee has been paid.
- Invitation letter from the host (family or friends), tour organizer or company in France.
- The letter of invitation must state the relationship with the applicant, purpose, and duration of stay in France.
- Holders of the tourist visa must not study or work while in France.
- France insurance certificate. The insurance certificate should show that the policy can provide for mishaps/emergencies at 30,000 Euros.
- Proof of accommodation in France or copies of hotel reservations in France.
- Flight reservation showing the entry and exit dates from France. The airline, PNR and arrival city should show on this document also.
- The birth certificate and signed consent note should be submitted by applicants under the age of 18 years.
- Applicants are required to submit a copy of a cover letter to explain in detail about your travel plans and status in France.
- Bank statement of the last three months' bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds for the whole duration of stay in France.
Business visa
- The Business visa to foreigners who intends to attend a business meeting, inspect products before shipping them or attend a conference in France.
- The applicant should provide proof of company registration of the company in France by providing a certificate of registration issued by the Government of France.
- A cover letter from the applicant's employer in Gabon stating the awareness of the applicant's trip, duration and reason for travel to France are required.
- The business cover letter should also indicate that the applicant is of good conduct.
- The cover letter should clearly state who will be financially responsible for the applicant during the stay in France and must be signed by a senior employee in the company in Gabon.
- The invitation letter must be approved by the chamber of commerce in France must be provided.
- Proof of business dealings by both companies should be provided.
- Income tax for the last three months must be provided.
- Confirmation of return ticket must be provided, this is to show that the applicant has the intention of returning back to Gabon.
- Applicant's travel itinerary showing travel details and dates of entry and exit from France is required
