Serbia Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Gambians travelling to Serbia for visitation, sightseeing and vacation purposes can apply for the Serbian tourist visa.
- You can now bring an unlimited sum of foreign currency into Serbia, but be aware that you can only take up to 10,000 EUR out of the country.
- If you enter Serbia with more than 10,000 euro in cash (or equivalent in other currencies), you must declare it to customs. If you fail to do so, Serbian customs may confiscate your money or levy heavy fines
- Gambians must register with the local police within the first 24 hours of arrival. Hotels or similar accommodation will do this for you. If you are staying at a private residence, you will need to register in person at the nearest police station.
- If you wish to stay in Serbia longer than 90 days during any 180-day period, you must apply for a temporary residence permit from the local police with jurisdiction over where you are staying in Serbia. You cannot apply for a residence permit outside of Serbia.
- It is recommended that all applicants have health insurance for the period of stay in Serbia, covering possible medical costs to the amount of not less than 20,000 Euros.
- Violent crime in Serbia is most often associated with organized crime activities and hooliganism surrounding high-profile sporting events, but can also be the result of xenophobia.

- You are required to provide a business introduction letter from your Gambia-based company. All letters must be printed on the company's letterhead.
- A letter of invitation from the applicant's host company is required. This letter must:

- Be addressed to the Serbia Embassy.
- Specify the applicant's full name, gender, date of birth, passport number, etc.
- Specify the purpose and duration of stay.
- Specify the type of visa, validity, and the number of entries requested.
- Include an acceptance of financial responsibility for the applicant.
- Be signed and dated by the applicant's host.
- Business travellers are required to provide a round trip ticket.
- It is important that you provide a bank statement from the past six months.
- If you are travelling with a minor, you are required to provide their original birth certificate.
