  • Ghanaian passport holders can stay in Kenya visa-free for a duration of 90 days.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months with two blank pages.
  • Before entry into Kenya, you must have a valid passport, one passport photograph, flight itinerary and ticket, proof of hotel booking, proof of sufficient funds and a letter from your company if you are applying for a business visa.
  • Minors (under 18) traveling on their own require written consent from either parent.
  • Your visa is for a single entry of 90 days.
  • You must declare currency more than 100,000 Kenyan Shillings before leaving the country.
  • You must show proof of yellow fever vaccination or you would be denied entry into Kenya.
  • Ghanaians visiting Kenya with pets must obtain a certificate of vaccination and must also obtain a license from the embassy or the high commission.
  • Ghanaians intending to visit Kenya must check for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, cholera, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia, and influenza. 
  • Direct flights are available from the Kotoka International Airport to Nairobi, Kenya and may last for up to 5 - 6 hours long.
