Entry Requirements
- Ghanaian passport holders can stay in Mauritius visa-free for a duration of 90 days.
- Your passport must be valid for six months past the intended period of stay, with one blank page.
- Visitors who overstay their visa have committed an offense and shall be liable for prosecution by a Court of Law.
- Non-citizens traveling to Mauritius as tourists/visitors are not allowed to engage in any gainful activities or apply for an extension of visa to follow studies/training courses.
- Non-citizens coming to Mauritius for business may apply for an Occupation Permit to Passport and Immigration Officer through Board of Investment as Investor, Self-Employed and Professional.
- Ghanaians do not require a visa to visit Mauritius for stays up to 90 days.
- Applying for your extension of stay on your visa is usually free of charge.
- Before entry into Mauritius, you must have a valid passport, two passport photographs, proof of sufficient funds (of $100 per night), return or onward tickets and proof of hotel booking reservation.
- Visitors require a vaccination certificate for Yellow Fever if arriving from an infected area with 5 Days.
- Ghanaians visiting Mauritania with pets must obtain a certificate of vaccination and must also obtain an import license from the embassy or the high commission.
