- Ghanaian passport holders can stay in Tanzania visa-free for a duration of 90 days.
- Travelers are required to declare international currency valuing more than $10,000 on both entrance and exit from Tanzania. Non-residents (except Kenyans and Ugandans) may not import or export Tanzanian Shillings (TZS).
- Your passport must be valid for six months for the duration of your stay with one blank page.
- Before entry into Tanzania, visitors must have a residence permit or pass.
- Visitors must have two passport photographs, an invitation letter if invited over, a copy of the round trip flight ticket, proof of sufficient funds and hotel accommodation.
- You can extend your stay to a maximum of 180 days at the immigration office in Dar es Salaam.
- minors under 18 years traveling alone or with only one parent/legal guardians should be accompanied by a notarized letter, jointly signed by parents or legal guardians approving the minor to travel and a copy of their ID.
- Pet licenses/certificates are required when traveling with pets to Tanzania.
