  • Ghanaian passport holders can stay in Trinidad and Tobago visa-free for a duration of 90 days.
  • Visitors can stay in Trinidad and Tobago visa for a maximum period of 90 days in any 180 days period.
  • You can apply for an extension of your visa with the immigration authorities in Trinidad and Tobago for a duration of 6 months.
  • You must have a valid reason/purpose for extension of stay, valid return ticket. proof of sufficient funds for the duration of your stay. proof of hotel accommodation, proof of marriage, if married and proof of parentage for minors before you can apply for an extension of your visa.
  • The processing fee for extending your stay is $100 TT.
  • To enter Trinidad and Tobago, a valid machine-readable passport is required.
  • Visitors are required to provide a proper local address in Trinidad and Tobago.
  • Ghanaians visiting Trinidad and Tobago with pets must obtain a certificate of vaccination and must obtain an import license from the embassy or the high commission.
  • Ghanaians visiting Trinidad and Tobago must check for hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia, and influenza vaccines.
