- The Bulgarian visa has two types namely:
- The short-stay business visa, designated as the “Type C” visa.
- While the long-term business visa is known as the “Type D” visa.

- This visa is for Guinea Bissauans who want to work in Bulgaria.
- Before applying for this visa, you must have been offered a job in Bulgaria.
- Citizens of Guinea-Bissau who are employed must have a work permit cleared by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
- Employees with above 10% foreign workers are not allowed to employ more foreigners.
- The validity period for the Bulgarian work visa is not more than 90 days.
- You can apply for a Bulgarian work visa for multiple entries. This means you can gain entry into Bulgaria for more than once.
- Those without qualifications which match the requirements of the job being offered, will not be granted employment and will be denied entry.

- A proof that you will not be paid below the minimum wage by your employer should be provided.

- Students who are under the age of 18 years are required to present the unabridged original copy of their birth certificate.
