Basic Travel Requirements for Guinea-Bissauans visiting Greece

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Greek Visa.


  • Guinea Bissauan passport  valid 6 months after exiting from the country is required.  The passport must contain two blank pages.
  • A duly completed visa application form. The form should carry the necessary signatures and stamps.
  • Two passport-sized photographs taken with a white background(35cmx45cm). 
  • The photograph must be at least 3 months old from the time of application.
  • Original bank statement for the last three months prior to the date of application for the visa. Salary payslips may be used in place of the bank statement.
  • A copy of travel itinerary updated with entry and exit flight dates. 
  •  A valid travel insurance which has a coverage of €30,000 for medical insurance.
  • A proof of accommodation for the duration of your stay in the country.
  • An onward and return flight ticket.
