Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Belgium

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Belgian Visa.


  • An original Indonesian passport issued not more than 10 years and valid for at least 3 months beyond your  intended return . 
  • The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
  • Previously issued Schengen visa (if there is any) is required.
  • Completely filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two identical passport photographs(35mm x 45mm) with a light background.
  • Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for Belgium and the entire Schengen area.
  • Cover letter in which you explain why you wish to visit Belgium and you give further details on your trip.
  • A  proof of accommodation either with a host or at a hotel.
  • A proof of sufficient funds for intended trip. 
  • A letter of invitation from the host in Belgium, 
  • Flight itinerary.
  • Proof of paid visa fees.
