Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Bosnian, Herzegovinian Visa.


  • An original Indonesian passport valid for three months beyond the date of departure from Bosnia and Herzegovina is required.
  • All citizens of the European Union may also enter using a valid ID card.
  • Application forms must be submitted in person on the premises of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
  • Application form for each passport must be filled in block letters (no corrections), the period for visa applied for should be stated with exact dates.
  • Two recently taken passport photograph is required. (35mm x 45mm).
  • Visa fee receipt
  • All visitors need to register with the police within 72 hours of arrival(your hotel will usually arrange this on your behalf).
  • Travelers are required to have at least KM150 for each day of their visit.
  • If you wish to stay longer than 90 days, you must apply to the Border Police for a residence permit.
  • If applying for a visa for a child, both parents should sign the form. In a scenario where one parent can not sign it, they need to provide a notarized letter authorizing travel with a copy of their passport.
  • If you are traveling with pets, you are required to present a veterinary certificate and rabies vaccination record.
