Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Denmark

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Danish Visa.


  • An Indonesian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Denmark.
  • The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
  • Previously issued Schengen visa(s)should be presented if there is any.
  • Completely, sincerely filled and signed visa application form.
  • Two identical passport photographs with a light background.
  • Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of visit to Denmark and itinerary should be provided.
  • Proof of accommodation throughout your stay in Denmark is required.
  • Flight Itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Denmark is required.
  • Proof of sufficient funds for the trip.
  • Letter of invitation.
