Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Denmark
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Danish Visa.
- An Indonesian passport issued not more than 10 years earlier and valid for at least 3 months from the date of departure from Denmark.
- The passport must contain at least two blank pages for visa stamping.
- Previously issued Schengen visa(s)should be presented if there is any.
- Completely, sincerely filled and signed visa application form.
- Two identical passport photographs with a light background.
- Travel insurance worth a minimum of 30,000 € and valid for the entire Schengen area.
- A cover letter stating the purpose of visit to Denmark and itinerary should be provided.
- Proof of accommodation throughout your stay in Denmark is required.
- Flight Itinerary with dates and flight numbers specifying entry and exit from Denmark is required.
- Proof of sufficient funds for the trip.

Denmark Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Danish tourist visa is for applicants who intend to travel to Denmark for recreational purposes.
- This visa can be used to tour Denmark, sight-see, visit friends and families and also attend ceremonies.
- It is usually valid for a period of 90 days and is called a short-stay visa.
- Proof of accommodation throughout your stay in Denmark is required.
- A letter from your host in Denmark Should be presented stating his/her contact address and details.
- The tourist visa cannot be used to study or work in Denmark.
- To be eligible for this visa, you are required to have at least DKK 350 per day if you have a host and DKK 500 per day if you would be staying in a hotel.
- All travelers must have a travel insurance policy worth € 30,000 and must be valid for the duration of the visa you are applying for.
- Sufficient funds are needed for your trip. A recent bank statement or other forms of financial statements would be required as proof.
Denmark Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Danish student visa is issued to applicants who want to study in Denmark.
- Before applying for this visa, you must first have been admitted into the institution of learning in Denmark.
- The admission letter given to the individual by the institution concerned should be presented during the application.
- You must have sufficient funds to cater to your study bills.
- Applicants on scholarship are to submit their scholarship letters or certificate.
- To be eligible for this visa, your passport must be valid for three months beyond the expiration date of your visa and should not have been issued for over 10 years.
- Your records from previous schools attended, certificates and transcripts should be submitted.
- If your institution will not provide accommodation for you then you have to get accommodation and provide proof during your visa application.
- The applicant's birth certificate might also be required.
- If you have previously been deported from Denmark or declared as undesirable, you would not be issued a visa.
Denmark Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- Invitation letter from the Danish company you will be visiting and their detailed address accompanied by the dates of your visit should be presented.
- A certificate from your employer in Indonesia stating/allowing your business travel
- If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided
- The business bank statement of the latest 6 months is required.
- Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents should be presented
- Regarding the applicant’s expenses during stay in the Schengen zone, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation.
