How to get a Ghana visa from Indonesia

• The Ghanian tourist visa is issued to Indonesians with intentions to visit Ghana for sightseeing, tourism and to visit family and friends.
• An original Indonesian passport valid for the next six months and have at least one blank visa page is required.
• You are required to provide two color, passport-type photographs that meet the following criteria:
• Be taken within the last three months and printed on high-quality photo paper
• Be taken against an all-white background
• Be two inches by two inches
• Provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression
• You may wear neither eyeglasses nor headwear except for religious purposes
• Your photos should not be affixed to your application and it may not display evidence of adhesive tape or staples.
• You must provide one fully completed copy of the application form. The application forms must:
• Include answers for all fields
• Display your full name as it appears in your passport
• Be signed
• Be typed
• Question #9 in the visa application form must be answered with two areas of interest
• You are required to provide proof of travel arrangements for the duration of your trip. Details of your intended arrangements must:
• Include a copy of an itinerary or e-ticket that displays your round trip travel and entry and exit dates for your destination
• Show the traveler's full name (as printed in his or her passport)
• Travelers under the age of 18 must also provide:
• A copy of the traveler's birth certificate
• Copies of the parents' state-issued IDs or passports
• A signed and notarized letter of consent by the parents/guardians authorizing the minor to travel.

• You are required to present an original bank statement obtained for the last six months. This statement must reflect sufficient balance in the savings account to prove that you will be able to support your stay in Ghana.
• You are required to provide a cover letter issued on the company's letterhead you are going to work with. This letter should mention the details of your stay in the country and as well as contain applicants, the company's information and it must be officially sealed and signed.
• Proof of payment of Income Tax Return obtained for the last 3 years is required.
• Proof of the company lawful registration in Ghana.
• A detailed invitation letter from the company in Ghana itemizing their contact details, the purpose of travel, sponsorship details, and other important documents.

Ghana is historically famous for its gold, It was previously called the Gold Coast. Currently, Chocolate has probably taken over and it one of the key suppliers of Cocoa to the likes of Cadbury. They also have diamonds, oil and are large producers of many types of Woods.

You should bring casual clothes and comfortable walking shoes, pack as if you are visiting a Caribbean island or Florida during the summer. A sweater, light jacket or denim jacket is suitable for nighttime. Don’t forget your bathing suit and sun hats also remember to bring plenty of mosquito repellent.

Ghanaian food is spicy and tasty. Fish and chicken are delicious and plentiful, along with fried rice, salads etc. There are also many American, British, Indian and Chinese restaurants. You will not go hungry in Ghana as their food prices are very reasonable (usually $10-$15 for a large meal). Only bottled water is recommended to drink.

Ghana is a very safe and friendly country. The people are very helpful and welcoming. However, as in any metropolitan city, you are advised to watch your personal belongings and beware of pickpockets, etc.
