Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Guatemala
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Guatemalan Visa.
- An original Indonesian passport valid for at least 30 days after the expiry of your intended visit.
- A statement or documentation confirming the purpose and duration of your visit
- Two colored passports (2inches x 2inches) photographs are required.
- A completely filled and signed visa application form
- Proof of accommodation
- Payment of the prescribed visa fee
- A return or onward ticket
- A proof of financial means to pay for your living expenses while in Guatemala
- Your passport must have at least two unused pages for entry and departure endorsements.
- If you have children (minors) traveling with you or joining in Guatemala, you will need to provide proof of consent of guardianship in the case of an unaccompanied minor.
- Medical insurance that covers your entire stay in Guatemala is required.

- Proof of a clean criminal record.

Guatemala Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- This visa is issued to Indonesians traveling to Guatemala for business purposes.
- A valid passport with at least six months validity remaining plus one photocopy.
- One visa application form completed and signed by the applicant.
- Two passport-type photographs.
- Payment of the prescribed visa fees.
- Proof of accommodation.
- Holders of this visa can sign a contract and attend conferences.
- A copy of the credit card and a copy of the photo ID.
- A business letter should be written on the companies letterheaded paper in Indonesia stating the purpose and duration of the trip.
- A letter of invitation from the host company in Guatemala
- Onward/return tickets or confirmed itinerary
- A letter from your employer should be written on the companies letterheaded paper that includes their contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that you will be returning to your current job.
- If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return.
- If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.
