Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Lithuania

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Lithuanian Visa.

  • An electronically filled and signed visa application form is required.
  • 2 passport sized photographs(35mm x 45mm) should be attached to your application form.
  • Your passport photograph should be taken on a light grey background without patterns.
  • Your original Indonesian passport and copies of your previous visas(if available) are required.
  • Your passport should have at least 2 blank pages and should be valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of visit to Lithuania and itinerary should be provided.
  • Proof of civil status like marriage certificate, birth certificate.
  • Proof of sufficient financial means for the period of stay in Lithuania.
    • A foreign national who wants to enter the Republic of Lithuania  should attest to the Lithuanian Embassy/Consulate possession of 40€/day.

Lithuania Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A Lithuanian tourist visa is available for Indonesian citizens with the intention to visit Lithuania for leisure and tourism activities.
  • An original Indonesian with at least 2 blank pages to affix passport is required.
  • 2 passport sized photographs(35mm x 45mm) should be attached to your application form.
  • Your passport photograph should be taken on a light grey background without patterns.
  • An invitation letter from your family or friends in Lithuania with the correct address and phone numbers(if applicable) is required.
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of visit to Lithuania and itinerary should be provided.
  • Proof of civil status like marriage certificate, birth certificate.
  • Bank Statements of at last 6 months as proof of sustainability throughout your stay in Lithuania.

Lithuania Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • A duly filled Lithuania Visa application form
  • 2 photos must be attached; the photo should be of passport format and taken on a light background
  • An original Indonesian passport and copies of your previous visas if available are required.
  • Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date and must have at least two blank pages.
  • A European travel medical insurance confirmation of minimum 30,000 € coverage within Lithuania and the entire Schengen area
  • A cover letter stating the purpose of visit to Lithuania and itinerary
  • An invitation letter from the Lithuanian company you will be visiting and their detailed address accompanied with the dates of your visit
  • A certificate from your employer stating/allowing your business travel
  • If there were previous trade relations between the two companies, proof of such events must be provided
  • Business bank statement of the latest 6 months
  • Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy (registered with joint-stock companies) Trade License (first issued and present renewal), Proprietorship/Partnership documents
  • Regarding the applicant’s expenses during stay in the Schengen zone, either the employer or the partner company must state coverage of expenses on the letter or invitation.

Lithuania Work Visa Eligibility & Requirements

  • The work visa is issued to the Indonesians traveling to Lithuania for work purposes.
  • An original Indonesian passport is required.
  • Two passport photographs taken on a white background is required.
  • Valid medical insurance with a minimum coverage of 30,000 Euros and covering the duration of stay.
  • You are advised to not pay visa fees until you have been issued a visa.
  • Curriculum Vitae should be submitted.
  • A confirmed air ticket reservation.
  • A copy of a work permit issued by the Labour Exchange of Lithuania.
  • A copy of your mediation letter should be electronically submitted. 
  • Evidence of sufficient subsistence.
  • Evidence of work experience in Indonesian is required.
  • Proof of accommodation either by the applicant or by the employing company should be presented.
