Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Sweden
Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Swedish Visa.
- An original Indonesian passport valid for at least three months is required.
- The passport should have at least two blank pages for visa stamps.
- Two(2) identical passport photographs(35mm x 45mm) taken on a white background are required.
- A duly completed and signed visa application form should be submitted.
- A copy of round trip tickets and itineraries should be provided.
- Medical travel insurance that covers the entire trip is required.
- Original copies of bank statements from the past 3 months.
- Copy of hotel reservations or accommodation.
- A letter of invitation is required if you are visiting friends or family
- the letter should contain the contact information of the host, purpose of visit and duration of this visit, signature, and date.
- Proof of your host's status in Sweden is required and this could be in form of:
- copy of their Swedish passport information page.
- Copy of their Swedish residence permit and their national passport's information page if they are not citizens of Sweden.
- The visa collection time is 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (Mondays - Fridays) except for public holidays.

Sweden Tourist Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- A Swedish tourist visa is issued to the Indonesians traveling to Sweden for visitation/tourism.
- A completely filled and signed visa application form.
- An original Indonesian passport that is valid for a minimum of three months is required.
- Your passport is expected to have two(2) blank pages for affixing visa stamps.
- Two passports size (35mm x 45mm) photographs taken on a white background.
- Sufficient money for your keep and for the journey home. Sweden requires that you have SEK 450 for daily spending.
- A copy of your Indonesian resident permit.
- Medical travel insurance.
- Proof of Swedish hotel reservation and an airline booking reservation for Sweden.
- A letter of invitation is required if you are visiting someone in Sweden. The letter must state the relationship between you and the host and the duration of your visit.
- Minors traveling with one or none of their parents are required to present a copy of their birth certificate and a notarized consent signed by both their parents.
Sweden Business Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The business visa is issued to business-oriented Indonesian traveling to Sweden for some business activities.
- An original Indonesian passport that is valid for at least 3 months.
- The passport should have at least two blank pages for the visa stamp.
- A fully completed and signed Swedish business visa application form.
- A passport size (35mm x 45mm) photographs not older than 6 months taken on a white background.
- Current bank statement and one copy thereof.
- Proof of travel insurance coverage for trips.
- Proof of sufficient funds during the stay in Sweden.
- Proof of Swedish hotel reservation and an airline booking reservation for Sweden.
- This business visa enables visa holders to attend trade fairs, conferences, and business summits while they are in Sweden.
- A letter of invitation from the inviting company in Sweden stating the duration and purpose of the applicant’s visit is required.
- A copy of your Indonesian resident permit.
Sweden Student Visa Eligibility & Requirements
- The Student Visa is issued to the Indonesian students who have been offered admission to study in an academic institution in Sweden.
- Two originals copies of a duly completed study visa application form are required.
- Proof of study visa fee payment.
- Original Indonesian passport valid not less than six months beyond the intended period of stay in Sweden.
- Two passport size (35mm x 45mm) photographs taken on a white background.
- Original and one photocopy of birth certificate, verified and authenticated.
- Proof of admission letter to a full-time accredited university for studies in Sweden.
- Proof of the first installment of the tuition fees for your course of study.
- Valid supporting documentation to support your residence permit application.
- Proof of your financial ability so as to support yourself financially during the course of your study in Sweden
- In case you are to stay in Sweden for a period of less than one year, you must have comprehensive health insurance and will need to provide its proof.
- You must fully intend to leave Sweden at the end of your course of study.
