Basic Travel Requirements for Indonesians visiting Tonga

Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Tongan Visa.


  • An original Indinesian passport valid for at least 6 months from the intended arrival date and must have 2 blank pages for visa stamp.
  • Duly completed and signed visa application form.
  • If the applicant is a minor, the parents/legal guardians have to sign the form.
  • Passport-sized photographs (2inches x 2inches) taken in white background.
  • Proof of financial support to cover your entire stay in Tonga. This should be in the form of a bank statement.
  • Proof of accommodation in the form of a hotel reservation.
  • Copy of return flight ticket to show the incentive of returning to your country
  • Documentation showing applicant’s ties to the home country, e.g. verification from the applicant’s employer.
  • A police report showing the traveler does not have a criminal record.
  • Medical Insurance covering the the entire duration of stay in Tonga.
  • Documentation confirming the purpose of travel.
  • Copy of travel itinerary.
