- Visitors can obtain a visa on arrival in the Maldives for a 30 days stay.
- A visa can be obtained from the immigration desk at Male International Airport.
- Visitors must carry a valid passport with a Machine Readable Zone (MRZ).
- The least validity period a passport is expected to carry is six months.
- Onward/return tickets and other documents pertaining to visitor’s destination out of Maldives must be valid and ready to be presented.
- Visitors must have enough funds to cover for the duration of their trip, a minimum of $100 to $50 per day.
- There are no costs attached to obtaining a visa on arrival.
- Visa extensions for 60 days are possible for a fee of MRf700.
