Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to apply for a Spanish Visa.


  • A valid international passport or travel document which continues to be valid three months after the projected date of leaving the territory of Spain. The passport or travel document must have been issued within the last 10 years.
  • Original copy of visa application form (official form EX-01) duly filled and signed.
  • Recent clear 4.5cmx3.5cm passport photograph which must not have been used in the passport. The photograph must be taken against a light background and must show the full face of the applicant.
  • Accreditation of economic means. The minimum amount to be accredited for each traveller per day in Spain is €90 with a minimum of €180 or its equivalent in foreign currency.
  • Return ticket or tourist circuit.
  • Proof of place of lodging for the length of your stay in Spain. You could provide a document from a lodging establishment or a letter of invitation from an individual in Spain with the content of the letter confirming your accommodation.
  • Confirmation of a booking or organized trip with a travel itinerary.
  • Travel health insurance.
