  • Citizens of Ivory Coast looking to visit Uganda for no longer than 30 can do so with an e-visa.
  • A valid passport is necessary for entry.
  • Passports must be valid for at least six months from time of arrival.
  • Passports should carry blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
  • Visitors must have enough money to cover their expenses during their intended period of stay. 
  • Visitors must have a valid onward/return ticket or other documents pertinent to their next destination.
  • Visitors’ luggage must be cleared at the first airport of entry in Uganda.
  • There are no taxes or fees required of visitors upon departure from their airport of arrival.
  • While the import of Uganda’s local currency is banned, there are no restrictions on the import of foreign currencies so long as they are declared on arrival.
